At least 120 hours (or half) of your internship is required to be related to your chosen track.
You may intern in the accredited firms/ NGOs or in the legal department of government offices/agencies.
No, internships must be done during the summer break (June to August).
Internships done during the holiday break (December to February) or during the school year shall not be credited.
The internship must be for 240 hours.
However, this can be split into two rounds of 120 hours each (either in different firms or on different summers).
To have your internship credited to the required apprenticeship program, you must have completed 2 years in the Law School.
Yes. As a condition for graduation, J.D. students are required to undergo apprenticeship for 240 hours.
Apprenticeship may be undertaken in one or two intersessions after a student has completed their second year in the Law School.
No, the talks are not mandatory. However, it is highly recommended that students participate so that they may have the opportunity to ask questions and know more about the firms.

The talks are held in the Ampitheater on the Ground Floor. In case of any changes in venue, kindly refer to the Facebook page or the ALS Announcements Telegram channel.
The booths may be found on the Ground Floor Atrium on February 23-27, March 2, and March 4-6.
Yes. The talks are open to all year levels with no prior registration required. All students are welcome to sit in and maximize the opportunity to meet with the firms and alumni.
There is no registration required for the talks. However, the venues are subject to their respective capacities. It is recommended that those who wish to participate arrive on time.

The Career Fair is an annual event held at the Ateneo Law School to enable law students to prepare for the apprenticeship program and consequently for future employment. The event is organized by the Sophomores, with the guidance of the school’s administration, and a little help from our freshmen volunteers. It will prepare students with the necessary skills and tools during the application process and more importantly, connect them with law firms and organizations they may work with in the future.
